Hon. Pst Marcel Maronko is the Managing Director of NIM Partners Ltd, an investment and project development consultancy based in Kampala, Uganda. A Burundian economist by training, he represents a new generation of African leaders dedicated to the sustainable economic transformation of the continent.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Burundi and further enhanced his leadership capacity and ethical grounding through studies at the Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) in the United States.
With broad experience in capital mobilization, business advisory, and project structuring, Marcel acts as a strategic bridge between visionary entrepreneurs and forward-thinking investors. Under his leadership, NIM Partners provides impactful solutions in key sectors including energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and technology.

Investment & Partnership Officer
Based in China | Originally from Burundi
Akeza Liena serves as Investment & Partnership Officer at NIM Partners Ltd*, where she plays a key role in developing strategic relationships with international investors and facilitating key partnerships.
Originally from Burundi, Akeza completed her higher education in Burundi and then in China, where she currently resides. Thanks to her international background and immersion in Asian business environments, she has acquired solid experience working with investors, which significantly strengthens her ability to mobilize resources for NIM Partners Ltd. projects.
Her intercultural expertise, mastery of strategic networking, and understanding of financial partners’ expectations make her a valuable asset in the company’s mission to attract sustainable investments, particularly in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors in East, Central, and West Africa.
